ESTIMATED PACKAGE VALUE
At the upper end of the salary range, the combination of gross base salary, potential performance-related bonus, employer pension contribution and the estimated gross income replacement value of the company-funded vehicle, fuel and tolls can produce an overall package value of approximately €90,000+ per annum.
The package value is intended to illustrate the potential overall financial value of the employment package rather than represent a guaranteed gross salary. Base salary is dependent on experience. Performance bonuses are discretionary and subject to individual, project and company performance. The actual personal value of employer-provided benefits will vary depending on individual circumstances and usage.
ROLE OVERVIEW
The Site Engineer will support the technical delivery of major civil engineering and infrastructure projects, working closely with Senior Engineers, Site Agents, Project Managers, subcontractors and design teams.
You will be responsible for setting out, engineering control, quality assurance, technical coordination and maintaining accurate site records across complex Energy, Transport, Water and Wastewater projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Carry out setting out, surveying and engineering control across assigned works.
• Interpret drawings, specifications and technical information for site teams and subcontractors.
• Maintain accurate site records, as-built information and engineering documentation.
• Coordinate inspections, testing and quality-control requirements.
• Support subcontractor coordination and monitor works against programme requirements.
• Identify technical issues and escalate or resolve them with the wider project team.
• Monitor progress and provide engineering input into daily and weekly planning.
• Liaise with Senior Engineers, Site Agents, consultants and client representatives.
• Assist with material checks, quality documentation and handover records.
• Ensure engineering activities are carried out in accordance with company health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
