DirectPath Recruitment is seeking experienced Senior Site Engineers for a leading Irish Civil Engineering Contractor delivering major Energy, Transport, Water and Wastewater projects across Leinster, Connacht and Munster.

PACKAGE HIGHLIGHTS

ESTIMATED PACKAGE VALUE

At the upper end of the salary range, the combination of gross base salary, potential performance-related bonus, employer pension contribution and the estimated gross income replacement value of the company-funded vehicle, fuel and tolls can produce an overall package value of approximately €100,000+ per annum.

The package value is intended to illustrate the potential overall financial value of the employment package rather than represent a guaranteed gross salary. Base salary is dependent on experience. Performance bonuses are discretionary and subject to individual, project and company performance. The actual personal value of employer-provided benefits will vary depending on individual circumstances and usage.

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Senior Site Engineer will play a key role in the technical and operational delivery of major civil engineering and infrastructure projects, working closely with Site Agents, Project Managers, subcontractors and design teams.

You will take responsibility for engineering control, setting out, quality assurance, technical coordination and the supervision of works across complex Energy, Transport, Water and Wastewater projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Take responsibility for setting out, surveying and engineering control across assigned works.

• Coordinate technical information, drawings and specifications with site teams and subcontractors.

• Supervise and support Site Engineers and junior engineering staff where required.

• Ensure works are delivered in accordance with approved drawings, specifications and quality requirements.

• Maintain accurate site records, as-built information and engineering documentation.

• Coordinate inspections, quality checks and testing requirements.

• Identify technical issues and work with project teams to develop practical solutions.

• Monitor progress against programme milestones and planned site activities.

• Liaise with clients, consultants, designers and subcontractors on technical matters.

• Ensure engineering activities are carried out in accordance with company health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
