DirectPath Recruitment is seeking experienced Contracts Managers for a leading Irish Civil Engineering Contractor delivering major Energy, Transport, Water and Wastewater projects across Leinster, Connacht and Munster.

ESTIMATED PACKAGE VALUE

At the upper end of the salary range, the combination of gross base salary, potential performance-related bonus, employer pension contribution and the estimated gross income replacement value of the company-funded vehicle, fuel and tolls can produce an overall package value of approximately €185,000+ per annum.

The package value is intended to illustrate the potential overall financial value of the employment package rather than represent a guaranteed gross salary. Base salary is dependent on experience. Performance bonuses are discretionary and subject to individual, project and company performance. The actual personal value of employer-provided benefits will vary depending on individual circumstances and usage.

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Contracts Manager will take senior responsibility for the successful delivery of major civil engineering and infrastructure projects, overseeing project teams, commercial and operational performance, programme delivery, quality and client relationships.

You will work across a portfolio of large-scale Energy, Transport, Water and Wastewater developments and play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and commercially.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the overall delivery of major civil engineering and infrastructure projects.

• Manage Project Managers, Site Agents, Engineers and wider project teams.

• Oversee programme, cost, quality, safety and commercial performance across assigned projects.

• Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and key stakeholders.

• Monitor project performance against agreed objectives, budgets and programme milestones.

• Support procurement, subcontractor management and commercial decision-making.

• Identify and manage project risks while driving effective solutions and programme recovery where required.

• Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with company health, safety, environmental and quality standards.

• Provide senior-level reporting on project progress, financial performance and key risks.

• Support the development and performance of project management teams.
